Armen Vartanian
Armen Vartanian is the Managing Partner at Altitude Partners. Previously, he served as Vice President of Workplace at LinkedIn during his second tenure with the company. He led the Workplace team across 37 locations worldwide and 7 million square feet of leased and owned assets, helping shape the company’s portfolio strategy and hybrid operating model.
Before returning to LinkedIn, Armen spent more than seven years at Okta, serving as Senior Vice President of Workplace with responsibility for Global Workplace Services, Workplace Technology, and Employee Experience. During his tenure, the company grew from a market capitalization of $750 million to more than $40 billion.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, he created and publicly championed Okta’s Dynamic Work framework, rethinking the traditional workplace to empower employees to do their best work wherever they are. The framework also expanded the company’s hiring reach beyond its office markets to talent around the world. His work has been featured and cited in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Forbes, and other major publications.
Armen has more than 25 years of experience leading financial analysis and real estate strategy for global organizations. During his first tenure at LinkedIn, he led the Real Estate, Workplace Strategy, and Project Management teams. Over his career, he has been responsible for some of the largest real estate leases in Bay Area history and has helped pioneer distributed growth strategies.
Armen holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
